The breath of my soul
knows
each step you take
each word
you speak.
My heart knows
it beats
to
the pulse of yours.
Skipping a beat
when you smile
caress me.
My eyes see
love
so great
it can’t be contained
in this
my body.
You needn’t speak
a word
for
my ears, my eyes
my body
know
I love you
And
you, you take care
in
loving me.

Hope
you are mine
to keep
to
love
endlessly.
Hope
you stay close
to
me
giving love, tenderness
everything
I need.
Hope
I am the same
for you.
Hope
our love
is
true
straight through.

Heaven sees, heaven knows
All the happenings
We need not
Disclose
Our trials, our tribulations
All our triumphs
For
She knows.
Tomorrow
Heaven will know, will see
Cause
She lives
Lives within us all
Inside of you, inside of me.

Don’t tell me
what
I must do
I don’t need that
I just need
you
I need you
to say
words of kindness
love
gentle things
that
no one else can
convey
Tell me
these things
tell me
today, all day
everyday
I pray.

I can’t be
everything you want
I can’t be
But
I want to be
the best
I can be
The best
of
all my history
Then
maybe then
you’ll see me
As I am
and
even love me.

A heart touched
By a loving paw and a wet nose
Is a heart
Forever
Forever full.

Take away the sad
the lonely
take them far away
replaced
with
kindness and happiness
Breathe deeply
breathe a long deep breath
For you
see
you are all
that’s needed
to
make your life
the best.

No more will I be
something
to hold
caress casually
Oh no not me!
I’ll be tough
filled
with anger
spreading hate
Yes, that’ll be me
Not because
I want to
not because
I need to
Just because
at
this moment
that’s me.
~ Patrice

Take hold of me
And please hold tight
Protect, guide me
Through the darkest night
Let no harm come to me
Or those I love
This I ask, I ask of you
My sweet love.

I feel
warm and cozy
snuggled up
between the two
of
you
Your heart
is
beating
I feel
that
too
Tomorrow we’ll go
for a walk
just us
We’ll walk together
you, me
and
you
I’ll say the words
I feel
I’ll say those words
that are
true
Then
you’ll smile
you’ll leave me
saying
I love you
You’ll be gone
and
I’ll be missing
missing
you.
