Strive For Happiness

Strive for happiness
Creating love
Narrow the corridor
That harbours anger
Let it sink deep into murky mud.

Never saw it coming
Never heard the cry
Maybe in the beginning
I didn’t understand
The reason why.

Now that is over and it seems
The clouds have begun to dry
I’ll take my happiness
And make love
The reason why.
