My Thoughts Race

My thoughts race
I pace the floor
Could it be
Could I possibly
Have more?

My heart is open
It feels good fortune’s
Gentle rays
Come flooding in.

My head spins
My ears roar
My thoughts race
As my jaw drops
Beneath my chin
To the floor.
