Those Who Lost The Fight

I hold up my hand
In gratitude to all those
Who lost the fight
The battle which had
No score.

Win or lose was the choice
Nothing else, no more
I too, will travel down that road
And at the end
To be no more.

There I may find that
Win or lose is not the choice
It’s to live
Forever more.
