goes the clock
throughout time

Tic tok, tic tok
does march on
through conflicts
and
happy, pasting times

Tic tok, tic tok
is all we hear
when we meet, love
and marry

Tic tok, tic toc
as
children play
old folks say words
lost in yesterday

Tic tok, tic tok
is what I hear the clock say
as time passes
passes away.
