In A Spot

You place me
in a spot
I don’t want to be.
I struggle to be
somewhere else
somewhere sunny, happy
somewhere
where I want to be.
You don’t control me
you can’t make me
something that I’m not
I don’t want to be.
So I’ll let you go
I’ll move beyond your control
and not be
in a spot
I don’t want to be.

I love this. Nobody should be controlled by anyone, ever. I was in this situation and it was the hardest to get out of.

In the morning when I open my book, pick up my pen to write, I wait to hear the words. Words I believe come from spirits that have someone on this side that they want to send a message to. They give me the words, I write them. The words may relate to me, have happened to me, are happening to me or never happened to me. Doesn’t matter, they are words they want me to write and I trust, hope that the ones that the spirit wants them to be seen by, will see them.
And this morning when I finished writing this poem, put down my pen, closed my book, that little voice said “Dawna needs to read this” I’m so glad you did and loved it!
Keep moving forward, you are never alone 😊

That’s awesome, thank you for sharing. I love that spirit guides you on what to write. I’ve been listening to Wayne Dyer and he says the same thing about spirit guiding him on what to write.

Yes! I have his book – ‘Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life’ and it DID change my life. – I was in a Health Food store browsing a book stand, looking at book titles when that little voice told me I should buy his book. Didn’t know who he was, nothing but bought it and yes, when I read that the spirits guide his words, I thought ‘I’m not crazy, others do this too!’ What a wonderful man. Would have loved to have met him.
