I’ve Heard Your Voice

I’ve heard your voice
I’ve heard you
call
I’ll come as soon as I can
no hesitation
no
not at all.

Your words uplift me
they keep me
calm
with you at my back
nothing gets left
undone.

May I keep you
always
by my side
gently touching, loving
leaving trouble
somewhere
on the path I stride.
