The world turns, it goes Then comes back around No breath is taken Except on its sacred ground.
The future is hidden The past is the past Nothing now will forever Last.
Turning slowly, turning fast The world is ours Hold on It’ll be a blast. ~ Patrice

Sadness streams down my face
Dreams
Remembered of another place
Trying to correct wrongs done
In that other time, that other place
No help
Can be strong enough
No help to carry me away
From that sad, sad place
Today.

I have found The world is round What is done comes back Comes back around So don’t make it bad Don’t make anyone sad Cause back It comes back around.
Make it happy Carefree, filled with joy Then when it comes back Comes back around Your soul will know Truly The world is round. ~ Patrice

You don’t know and I won’t tell The secrets kept That do dwell deep beneath the sky In plain sight But blind to the naked, uncaring eye.
See you when your heart opens up Your eyes do speak And your mouth remains shut Then you’ll know The secrets I speak about Then we’ll laugh and dance about.~ Patrice

A solitary fire fighter stands amidst the rubble and smoke in New York City. Days after a Sep. 11 terrorist attack, fires still burn at the site of the World Trade Center. U.S. Navy Photo by Photographer’s Mate 2nd Class Jim Watson. (RELEASED)
9/11 will be seen As a time of horror Heartache And oh, such bravery When 9/11 angels were sent to heaven Too much hate No saving.
Buildings will dissipate But lives lost or ruined Will be remembered Then, now and for decades The reason lost on most, everyone Not known why Most of all by those who died Really, not understood by anyone.
Life should not be deemed cheap All life is sacred, revered That is my belief Say a prayer, pray for those Who lost their lives And those Who were the reason.
For if we all can see We must live together Work together, love together In peace and tranquillity Then it will be ours forever It will forever Be. ~ Patrice
