I saw God today
He came in such a mysterious way
No bolts of lighting, no angels swayed
Just God
I saw God today.

A tear drop
Runs down my cheek
Taking with it all I cherish
All I seek.
A tear wells up
Clouding my eyes
So they can’t see
The pain devouring me.
A tear drops quietly
On lips unable to cry
Any words that fit
These feelings I dispise.
A tear falls
Down my cheek
Landing on my broken heart
Whose pain won’t go away.
A tear flows down
Taking with it all love
All joy
I hoped I’d found.
I feel
A tear running down.

The idea came
I think yesterday
All laden in glory, no more can I say.
The idea came
I don’t know from where
Out of the blue it was just was there.
The idea came
Quietly
No bolt of thunder or shouts of ecstasy.
So I must get busy, work away
And make it real
This idea that came to me yesterday.

Sitting here thinking
About what my day may be all about
Hoping for no pressure, just fun, laughter
You know what thats about.
Hoping my heart will grow with love
While my sorrows just ebb away
No tremendous thud
Yes, I could learn to love
What that is all about.
Just sitting here thinking
Thinking what my day
Is going to be all about.

Poetry
Taken from the pages
Of anarchy
Full in the hearts of subtlety
Showing no malice is
Poetry.
Poetry
Why have you come
To be my destiny?
Nothing matters but
The throes of the heart in
Poetry.
Poetry
Anger, passion, full
Of the vacant sound coming
From that original sin
Even then
Blessed is the heart
That changes history with
Poetry.
Poetry
No one can know what
Could have been
My heart, my love and
All life has been and now
Come be within
Poetry.

We are in a deep freeze
A deep, deep freeze
Cold does not cover what it is
Breath taken away
Frozen in a frigid atmosphere.
Those you hold dear
Should not be out or near
Frozen
Smother instead with warm
Blankets of unfrozen love.
Polar bear cold
Things are froze
No one knows how deep
Or long it will go
Don’t know.
Please no longer than a sleep
Let it creep back up
Let us experience heat
No more deep, deep freeze
Oh please some heat!

Saw my heart filled
With love
And yours with such cold
Not caring bold disdain.
I wasn’t told
You’d soon depart
Or how I’d be shattered
Blown apart.
It seems it doesn’t matter
For that’s what you expect
When the heart
Is torn, ripped away.
Not sure why
I didn’t cry or follow
You out the door.
Instead I closed my heart
Denying for a time
That I wished
You would have stayed.
But now I wait and hope
And pray
That you’ll come back
Someday, someday.

We are joyous
Moving along, forward
Into a distant future.
Hesitate, reach down
Look around, see
All the wonders
Growing
Living by your side.
Know
You’re not alone
Nor ever going to be.
For intertwined
In your soul, mine
And all that
Has ever been.
