Holding on, holding tight
Trying desperately to make it
Thru the day into night.
No one to help, no one to say
Words of wisdom
Nothing on this day.
Where will I be, what will I say
In a world where I’m on my own
For today.

I seek to find
the world
in a place divine
No hatred
killing
ever creeping slime
Caring places all
on the pedestal of sincere
and right
Full of joy
laughter
cuddling thru the night
This is where I want to be
this is how
all things should turn
A place I’ll seek, I’ll look
I’ll find
in a world most divine.

The telltale signs are here
And
Then they go
Hidden deep beneath
The ever flow.

Taste the scent of life
Seeking to live in a chaotic world
With no stress nor strife
A feat some think unsurmountable
But possible if you taste
That scent that brings
All possibilities to life.

You haven’t been
Completely honest
With me, you or anybody
Always telling half truths
Bald faced lies
The question is
Why, why?
Nothing gained by your actions
All lost in the aftermath
Of your lies
Your sordid lies
Lies.
Will I tomorrow see
A new you as you say
The one to tell the truth
Or
Is it just another lie
One of your many, many
Lies.

Remember to love
And
Respect thy self.
Let no man, woman or child
Be above the love you show
Yourself.
For if you are lost
To the thoughts of another
You are lost to you.
Hard as it may be
Love with gentleness
Respectfully.

Stories told
Are the stories
I tell.
Are they true
Or did I just say words
That make the story
Told well?
Secrets revealed
Bad parts left out
Who knows
How can you tell?
Embellished or truthful
Telling a tale
To remember.
Not because
It’s told correctly
But told well.

You have the answer
You have the way
To bring joy and happiness
Into this world
Making a better place
Now and everyday.
No words of commitment
No promises uttered
In any way
Just moving forward
Taking each and every step
Accomplishing a better day.

Dead leaves fall
Blowing
In the breeze
Falling to the grass
Floating
In the stream.
Dead leaves fall
Gathering
On the deck
And
Beneath barren trees.
Dead leaves fall
While children
Laugh
As they frolic in those
Now dead leaves.
That fell
That
Fall.

I must
reach for the best
I must
know that tenderness
will bring joy and happiness
I must
make my world turn
with kindness, not hate
I must
I must seek
search, participate.
