I seek to find
the world
in a place divine
No hatred
killing
ever creeping slime
Caring places all
on the pedestal of sincere
and right
Full of joy
laughter
cuddling thru the night
This is where I want to be

all things should turn

Bald faced lies
The question is
Why, why?
Nothing gained by your actions
All lost in the aftermath
Of your lies
Your sordid lies
Lies.
Will I tomorrow see
A new you as you say
The one to tell the truth
Or
Is it just another lie
One of your many, many
Lies.

nothing
compared to you.
It does not
raise the temperature
it doesn’t make
the news.
But it’s

it’s everything.

Are the stories
I tell.
Are they true
Or did I just say words
That make the story
Told well?
Secrets revealed
Bad parts left out
Who knows
How can you tell?
Embellished or truthful
Telling a tale
To remember.
Not because
It’s told correctly
But told well.

from the universe
nor
the past
as well.
Maybe it’s for the best
maybe then
we’ll forge ahead
bask
in the brightness
of those things
that
she does speak of
those things she tells
so well.
