Holding my heart
near to me
so it won’t break
fall from joy
into
misery.
I’ll hold her close
feel the veins and arteries
pumping
throughout
my grateful body.
She has been
but never seen
light
hidden deep
inside of me.
Never spoken or cried
there
she stays
inside of me
inside
my body.

Brings us to the time
Before we begun
To see one another
As we were
What we’d become.

Only date
We start from.

I wonder, wonder where
The squirrel at the feeder
Came from.
Where the sun was before
It shone in the sky.
When people thought
That they may fly.
What was said when
The mountains fell.
As a earthquake opened up
And shattered the ground.
I wonder, wonder where
The answers can be found.

No where to go
Sitting here pleasantly wondering
Why I stay home
No more
To go.

Listen to that little voice
That
Speaks inside your head
The soft, gentle sound
That tells
What’s right, what’s wrong.
The one who says
Which path to take
If you should
Go
Not hesitate, not wait.
When you find
The one
You think you love
She’ll tell you
If you need to stay
Or
If you should not walk
But run.
So listen
Listen to that little voice
She knows your heart
She knows
Knows what’s best.
Never lose that
Connection
Never ignore that voice
For
She says the wisest words
There
Inside your head.

Learn the lesson
You’ve been given
Accept the consequences
To be learned
Don’t wonder why
The world turns.
Your answers, your lesson
Will be learned
As the universe, nature discerns
You need to know
Need to learn.

The sun breaks
over a brown earth
Left as if dead from winter storms
But then
In the midst of all broke
Deemed dead and dying
Is a small green shoot
Emerging
Bringing life
To a winter weary land.
The warm sun gives life
Nurtures
The rising ones
Spring
Has come
As winter retreats
Only
On a later day
To blast
Blow once again.
The sun then rests
Satisfied
she has done her best
Thou
She too
Will be back
Tomorrow
To nurture, bring life
With a warm, radiating
Spring sun.

To be sad or happy
No more to say
Those words
I didn’t want to say.
All is finished
Completed in every way
Now is the time
To be just me
Just me all day.

The problems I had
Answers
That evaded me
In retrospect
I could have
Done things
Differently
In retrospect
I know my life
Could have been
Changed drastically
But
In retrospect
Then I would not be
The person I’ve become
I need to be
