No One Sees

July 4, 2024
No One Sees ~ Illustration by Patrice

No one helps
no one sees the world
exactly
like me.

Sometimes I’m great
sometimes I’m very sad
and
sometimes
sometimes I know
just what’s needed
not
to go mad.

No One Sees

November 14, 2023
No One Sees ~ Photo by Patrice

No one in the world
Sees the countryside, the sky
Others in my journey
Exactly
Just like me.

They see a different world
They don’t see
What my eyes experience
No
Not just like me.

But then
I don’t see the countryside, the sky
Others on this journey
Exactly as they do
No where near
What they do see.

No One Sees

No one sees
All those things
Things of beauty
And
Disgusting things

They are kept
Well within
Inside of each

Brought forth
Out
Only to review
And
To teach.

No One Sees

No One Sees ~ Illustration by Patrice for B.C. Central Credit Union

No one sees
what
I need to see.

No one cares
if it’s good
or
just a necessity.

It’s left for me to decide
live with it
or cast all aside.

Seasons Come

October 26, 2017

Season's Come ~ Photo by Patrice

Seasons come they do change
Frosting all way down the lane
No one sees, no one does
Know the answers
Of this unconditional love.

Robin In The Nest That Be

May 13, 2016

Patrice's avatarPatrice’s Art & Poetry Blog

Robin in the nest that be
Built an impressive place
For turquoise eggs to be
In their little comfy nest
Do rest
Patience be

Keep an eye on all
That may be around
To harm
This little nest that be

Tucked away
Hidden in leaves
Where no one sees
This little nest
A robin’s nest
That be.
~ Patrice

Happy Birthday Sharon
