I feel the heaven and the lie
I know the answer I sigh
Nothing is respectful
Nor is it what I need to know

I see the ocean’s die
I am part of the earth
Scotched, bleeding dry

Welcoming
See love
Opening
Giving all
Giving everything.

Will I reveal the face
I know I’ve been?
Will the lines of tomorrow
Be etched
Across my taunt skin?
Will the ones
That happened yesterday
Be still there
In a full or forced grin?
I don’t know the answer
Cause you see
I don’t know who I’ve been.

Home to stay
Wait til happiness wains
Then I’ll go away
To a life of my choosing
Where I’ll make it
Home

Keeps the soul warm
Surrounding you.

Cold drips
It wains
Sun warms
Spring
Summer are on the horizon
If you stand on a tall hill
You can see them
Plain.

Let no one keep gentle thoughts
From surrounding me.
For tomorrow will be
Another day
The sun will rise and shine
Holding night at bay.
Til she too succumbs
To quiet rest
In the arms of one
Who loves her dearly
Loves her best.

The blizzard roar
And the sky cry.
A storm
Blows across
A cold, barren land.
No soul ventures out
No one wants to know
How cold winter is.
