Piling up
Has been all night.
Quietly falling
Covering
Blanketing all that shows.
The sun will rise
Shining bright
On snow covered fields
Blessed
With a insulating layer of white.

Cruel

Blowing all night

The morning sun.
Devastation
Greets the day
All hard work
All blown away.
Nothing left
But clean up
Arrange
And hold back
Despair.
Know
The sun will shine
Once again
Life will go on
Even if the wind
She does blow
Strong.
