No Hope Looms

No hope looms
No way to stay
Near heaven’s breath
All seems lost
Forever
Gone away.

Then storm clouds break
Heavens open, shining bright
All worries lift, they have gone
Now
My soul is heaven bound.

Snow Soft And White

Snow soft and white
Piling up
Has been all night.

Quietly falling
Covering
Blanketing all that shows.

The sun will rise
Shining bright
On snow covered fields
Blessed
With a insulating layer of white.
