Feeling sick today
And
It just won’t go away.
No bright sunshine
No howling wind
Can ease this feeling
Deep within.
Take it away
Pick it up
Put it somewhere
I won’t feel it
Anymore today.
Ringing, weakness
Sickness too
Go away
I don’t want you.

I’ll dream a dream tonight
A dream everyone would like
A dream full of happiness and delight
A dream all hope to dream tonight.
I’ll dream that dream tonight.

Darkness falls
Covering all
That morning bright
Brought into
The glaring light.
Softness
Peaceful resting quest
Awaiting, waiting for
It to start all over
After a night time rest.

I look her in the eyes
And see a girl
As pleasant
As pleasant be.
Never knowing
She would grow up
To be me.

Black and white
You surely see
There in a land
Of cold deep freeze.

Heartache joyous flowing down
Releasing sadness all around.
Making love a thing of the past
Making sorrow ever last.
Melancholy thoughts abound
Swirling, twirling, I hear the sound.
Make me happy, make me see
This hardship is not my destiny.

Thrilled with life
And filled with vigour
That’s what should be
My infinite call.
When muse is not enough
And action can be in
The neighbourhood of overload
Tread that narrow line.
Neither slip nor fall
Walk one step closer
To the ecstasy of life
Lived on the edge of it all.

We are here. Are we not?
Full of fear? I hope not.
Full of love? How profound.
Working Hard? Hear the sound.
You and I, we are here.
Look around.

The answer came to me
Not in a flash of light
Nor as a wave crashing in the night
That those past lives lived
Come to us in a way
So simple and so straight away
They come in our DNA.
We remember things gone by
And don’t know why
But the reason is
They are in our DNA.
Such as when you think
You’ve been here before
Think again
For you have been
It’s all written in your DNA.
They tell us what we need
What will make us pleased
It’s all there in our DNA.
When you think you’ve been
In this situation once again
It’s most likely true
The blueprints shows us
Thru and thru all that’s written
There in our DNA.
Why we laugh and grin
Why we cry and don’t know why
The answer is in no other place
It’s our saving grace
There within for eons been
Hidden in our DNA.
