I write
I say the words that
I believe
needs to be said.
I love the people of the world
only wish
they would not
be so intent on living
not thinking
how destructive
each footstep we take
can kill, eliminate
destroy living souls
who’ve done nothing
nothing but try to be
to live.
Take care to tread lightly
as you can
and
together we’ll make
the world a wondrous place
where we live
in
blissful harmony.
That’s all, that’s it
I’ve said
I believe
