Each Morning

March 9, 2022
Last used March 9/22

Each morning
I create
Patrice

Each morning
I make her come alive

Each night she sleeps
but
does not die

Each day
I appreciate she lives
she is alive.

A Plan

March 8, 2022
A Plan ~ Photo by Patrice

Seeing ideas, hearing plans
feeling emotions
of
what could be
what I could accomplish
that
that I should start
to plan.

Smile gently
speak about my vision’s plan
hear
how I can execute
all those things
that’ll bring it to reality
more than just
a plan.

Have I

March 7, 2022
Have I ~ Photo by Patrice

How have I come to feel this way?

Where will I go on this another day?

Have I been there before?

Have I passed by this way?

Will I go beyond the horizon?

Become lost in the sun’s rays?

Answers I question

Questions I’m asking

Today.

I Remember Memories

I remember memories
Both sad and joyous

Memories

 They come to me
When I don’t notice

Memories

My mind will be elsewhere
And suddenly they’re there

Memories

Real or imagined
Staring at me
Laughing hysterically

Memories

Nothing seems to matter
Cause I remember
Memories.

Holding On And Being Kind

March 3, 2022

Holding on and being kind
Will get you
To
The promise land.

No one will fail nor even cry
All is well
Enjoy
The journey

Sleep rested
Knowing you’ve arrived
In
The sweet bye and bye.

See The Way

March 1, 2022
Refugees fleeing the Russia-Ukraine war
Thirteen-year-old Jana left Chernivtsi with her family and two dogs. They travelled with some family friends who have relatives in Italy, where they are hoping to stay. “In Ukraine, children stay hidden, afraid their homes might collapse at any moment,” says Jana as she strokes her dog. [Ioana Moldovan/Al Jazeera]

See the way, see the path
Move forward, don’t look back

Embrace the knowledge
You’re going to safety

Where no one
Can hurt you

Not now, nor never
Just know, believe that.

A Place

February 28, 2022
A Place ~ Photo by Patrice

I think the world has come
to
a place
of tremendous joy
or
deep sorrow

Each step we take
will lead us
to
a place
filled with happiness
or
despair

This place
where I want to be
is
not hidden
but
open, right there
in front of you
of me

Take the steps
you need
to chose
the path to joy
this place
of
happy

Tread not down
the deep,
dark hole
of
desperate agony

This place
I think I need
I feel
I see
I will be.

Terrible Times Do Occur

February 25, 2022

Dead Turtle in Costa Rica ~ Photo by Patrice

Terrible times do occur
Marching lines, men’s faces obscure
No more joy, lightly skipping breeze
Heartache, morse pretty bleak.

Then the sun shines oh so bright
Lighting the way both day and night
No more tears, sadness blame
All is well once again.

Not Theirs

RUSSIA BEGINS FULL-SCALE INVASION INTO UKRAINE, PUTIN CONFIRMS ‘MILITARY OPERATION’ UNDERWAY Posted by Ryan Saavedra | Feb 23, 2022 | Daily Wire I

My heart aches
Seeing armies invade, taking land
Not theirs

Hearing cries, bombs
Flashing
Deadly lights

The world reels
As despots steal countries
Not theirs

They don’t care
If lives are lost, hearts broken
Life torn apart

Seek a way to stop
This annexation of what is
Not theirs

Please God
Please show me
Show me how today.
