Standing still
And
Breathing deep
The world comes into focus.
Then I know
Know what I need to leave
And
What I need to keep.

Standing Still And Breathing Deep
January 9, 2023
I Do Remember
January 6, 2023
I do remember
Your loving grace
The innocent smile upon your face
Your strong embrace.
I do remember
Shelter in a troubled world
Your ability of slowing down
A hectic pace.
I do remember
A simple kind gesture
Sweetness on your face
A peaceful existence.
All this I do
I do remember.

Wondering What
January 5, 2023
Sitting here wondering
What has begun
What will take place
What has run to it’s end
What has not.
These are things I think about
I take to my heart
For it must live through every single thing
Every single bit and not skip a beat
No, it must not.

The Past
January 4, 2023
Going Forward, Not Looking Back
January 3, 2023
Going forward, not looking back
Leaving badness in the past
Let no one be carried
On a bed of sadness
But
Rejoice, go forward
Pursuing happiness.

When I Heard You Calling Me
December 23, 2022Wishing all Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas! 😀
When I heard you
Calling me
My heart stopped
It skipped a beat.
Tell me why
I can be alone
Lost without you
Near me.
You make me whole
A life to love
With arms wrapped
Around my soul.
Your heart, my heart
Filled with love
Together always
In everlasting love.

Figure It Out
December 21, 2022
Let me figure it out
Thoughts run through my mind
trying to see the answer to make everything
I want to happen
come about.
Think seriously, think again
see the path, the way
construct how I’m going to get there
the why, where
and
how it’s going to come about
Let me sit down quietly
take a deep, soft breath in
think
figure it out.

Beauty In Nature
December 20, 2022We come to see
The beauty in nature
Here, for all
To see.
Just take a breath
Look around
See
All the magnificence
That nature has given
To you, to me
