Leaves Falling

Cascading down
Onto dying, cold
Hard ground.

Life begins
Lives
Then passes away.

That is how life lives
From the beginning
Now
And in all
The coming days.

There They Fall

Hear the raindrops fall
Cascading down on dry ground
There they fall.

Bringing life sweet water falls
Trickling over dusty rocks
Feeding parched grass
There they fall.

No wicked blizzard
Harsh winds none at all
Just quiet falling sweet raindrops
There they fall.
