The world is round

Carefree, filled with joy

I wake in the early morning light
Pondering my mission, my delight
No other knows
No other can conceive
The thoughts, the words
The images that come
Only to me.
The early morning light
Can be quiet
Still as the darkness left
Or filled with joy
Sounds singing, bringing forth
The board, bright daylight.
I will lay here
In the midst of my thoughts
The grey dawn getting ever so light
I will rise, knowing
What must be done
Beyond the early morning light.

Seeking, seeing frustration hurt
Haunting me
Move to the left, turn to the right
Nothing works, not tonight
Maybe tomorrow the sun will shine
Clouds escape to a happier time
Taking me with them on a path fluffy white
Filled with joy gentle and kind
No regrets
For I’m in that happier time.
