Calm Has Come

Calm has come
Stopped the siege
No one knows
Nor cares why.

Bow my head
Hear it now
Blending
Softness into song.

To the world
Nothing’s changed
Yet I know nothing
Will be the same.

I Know

Had a thought
Of someone
Not anyone I know.

Heard songs singing
With words
I didn’t know.

Seen ones I know exist
But for me I know
I do not know.

All very strange for me
Yet comforting to know
They did and do exist.

Alongside me and those
I definitely
Do now know.
