Barring, marring
My way
Help is at hand
But I can’t reach it
Something blocks
The way
Turning, trying hard
To make my way
To the destination
I know is here, is mine
I’m sure today
Just have to move
Push those clouds
Away.

Leaving feelings
Sometimes I don’t want to know

What is now does not last
It comes to past then goes
As all the world does
This I know.

My heart, my soul
Believe the right will come
Will be bestowed.
When I think can’t think
About what could have been
Can’t speculate on how
It came about
What now has been.
When I think I open up
My heart, my soul
To the world’s best
The light that guides
That lets me hear
The way to go.
When I think all is done
My heart, my soul
Laugh and say
Don’t ever think the best is gone
Or all hope is dead.
When I think, I know
We will survive, we will grow
We will make a life
The envy of
My heart, my soul.
