Felt your gentle soul

My heart is heavy, my soul cold
Wherever I wander
I know
The sky will be there
The earth a treasure trove
Of experiences
I will live, I will know
Together
They will pull me out
Out of this deep hole
My heart will lighten

Beauty is what I behold
When looking out
Onto the board expanse
Nothing but beauty to behold.
My eyes see fields, meadows
Hills and lovely valleys
Where creatures big and small
Live, loving all.
As I lay my head down tonight
I’ll once again
Behold these images of beauty
In vivid dreams throughout
This, my sleeping night.

I know why I’m here
Know the world spins and turns
I know sadness and grief
And
I know great joy and ecstasy.
Yes
I know what it means
To be in this world
And part of everything.

The day before
Something.
Not sure what that is
But I know, know it’s
Something.
I’ll go thru my life
Living it to the highest heights
It’ll be
Something.
Then afterwards
When all is said and done
I’ll sit back and say
That was
Something.

I can’t be scorned, belittled or debased
I am alive, I have survived

I know, know what I need to do.

I live in the past
I see those days
I hear that heartbeat
Unable to make
Those old thoughts
Go away.
But
Not all sadness I feel
For joy and gladness
Support me today
I know I had, had it all
In the life I lived
Yesterday.

I know
Or do I let them go.
My heart doesn’t know
The way
The way I should go.
My spirit tells me
Feel the earth
Breathe the skies.
And the beings that live
Purely
Will guide you, they’ll never lie.

Know there is a God
