When the answer does arise
May I be ready, not surprised
May I act upon
The words filtering thru
My head to my heart
Unperturbed.
No one else will hear
That sound meant for me
But I must recall
All the times leading up to this
Not forcing me, just acting on
The answer resting on my lips.

Seeing
Feeling all
That can be kind.
Acting on the narrow line
Lost
Between ridiculous
And the most kind.
No one has to tell
The outcome
Or
The story well.
Just be there
In the moment
Give
Offer kindness well.

Sidestep
Even if you have to duck and hide
No matter the reason the answer is there
Its up to you to find out where.

Lying in wait of something grand
Making no mistake
The heart is totally in command
As I listen to my soul who knows
That no one will ever love
As much as you and I
This I know
This I understand.

That bother us, we take them in
Our stride.
Neither can hardships concern us
If we smile and know the thing is
We’re alive.

To fulfill all I can.

Together we go thru life
Me, Myself and I
Conquering strife, living life
Me, Myself and I
No one knows or been told that
Me, Myself and I
Can survive anything if we stand together
Me, Myself and I
Don’t know why life is this way but
We’ll live and love in a way,
Each and everyday
So there’ll be no remorse for
Me, Myself and I.

Dreams are forgotten
Never to be told
Dreams
Never to unfold.
Dreams of splendour
Happiness and fame
All to be seen
Going down the drain.
Sadness, despair
Anguish and heartache
Tear at the soul
Shattered
Fall to the floor
Never, no more.
Up from the tatters
Mended but bruised
Focused on laughter
Making that dream
Come true.
Watch as dreams
Of splendour and happiness
Unfold to be true
This too can be you.
