Sometimes life is a thought away
Sometimes you need to say
I’ll do my best
and
then we’ll play
leaving all sad things
for
another day.
Sometimes
that’s my thought for today

I Need Today
June 25, 2024
No one can
tell me
no one can say
the comforting words
I need
need today.
They are all lost, hidden away
not heard
nor
part of the healing
I’m craving
I’m needing today.

Just Like Me
June 24, 2024
No one writes
No one sees the world
Exactly
Just like me.
Changes come
Things disappear
They go
As
I sit here
Wondering
What makes me tick
Why
My life ebbs and flows
All the things
Only
I can know.

When I Hear The Sound Of Your Voice
June 21, 2024
When I hear
The sound of your voice
Life becomes so dear
Clouds part, rains stop
And wrens fly near.
No one speaks a word
No one need say
The feelings felt
To convey how
The world is ours
And
We have all the love
We need today.

All Those Things
June 20, 2024
No one can tell
no one can
say
all those things
I need to hear
just to get me
through
today.
Heaven help
if
you please
I need
comforting
come be near
holding me.

Changes Need To Be Made
June 19, 2024
I know changes
Need to be
Made
Things have gotten
Old and staid
But
Then my mind goes
In
Another way
. . . .
Old stuff, old ways
Are
Well known
And
Oh such
A comfortable place
To stay!

No
June 17, 2024
No
I won’t be hurt
By what you see or do
No
I won’t try to understand
The method used
No
I won’t believe
My dreams can’t come
true
Because
I know I will have
Everything
I need
This
I’m telling you.

Holding On And Very Still
June 14, 2024
Holding on and very still
breathe light
heart softly beating
and
I will be careful
to
leave the earth
a better place
because
of
me
I promise, I will.

I Must Accept
June 13, 2024
This is when
I must
Accept those
Giving
Unconditional love
And
Anyone
That only means harm
Let them go away
To find
How
They can change
Their hurt
Into loving others
Each
And
Every day.

Heaven Help Me
June 11, 2024
Heaven help me
Let me be free
Of
All controversy
Let not
The powers that be
Feed me
Hate, anger
More
Controversy
Instead let me see
The love, the beauty
And
All that heaven
Has
Gives to me.
