You gave me life
you showed me how
to
live life
exist in a world
that
sometimes wears a scowl
You didn’t accept the mundane, the trivial
you shot for the heights
you tried, you did it
then
you showed me how.

Thoughts come, then they go
Some back to where
They need to go
Others stay in my mind
Developing, expanding, growing
Growing.
So what do I do?
Follow thru
Or
Leave them
To fester, to stew?

My heart it cries
My soul is lost upon a sea of sadness
As
Winds blow despair
Through a place so sorrowful
So extreme.
Then you come
You are here once again
Joy rises
My lips are filled with loving kisses
Ecstasy
Thunders in my heart
Yes, you are everything
You’re all I need.
Come lie beside of me
Let us be together
Never again
For me to wonder where
You could have gone
Where you’ve been.

Heaven help me understand
All the thoughts
Going through my mind
My hands.
Are they real
Are they
Something I’ve done
Should do?
Which ones are right
which ones should I leave
What ones do I need
I understand?
All these thoughts in my head
Are they in
Within
My command?

When to go
Is
A feat that will
Save
Your life
Make all things
Prosper
Everything , all things
Grow.

Then and only then
Will I let you go
Free
To be in eternity.
I’ll still be there
And
Together we’ll share
A love so strong
Not a word or a universe
Can keep us apart.

Will always be
A burning
A burning in my heart
For me.

Roaming
Through your mind.
Don’t let them grow
Becoming nothing
But
All you see.
Don’t let them be the essence
Of what makes up
The you
Or
The sweet, gentle
Me.

A word of gratitude
Goodbye or even ‘Hey’
You just left
I saw you leave, go away.
My heart was broken
My life in disarray
I had nothing left that day
I saw you you leave
You were gone
You went away.
