Nothing is that great
To fight all to get it back
Let it go, let it be
The sun will shine
Regardlessly

Another idea came to mind
Popped into my head
My mind
Write it down, ponder it
Express it
Make it become
A reality.
Cause if I let it be
It’ll wander and fade
To a fleeting thought
That once lived
Briefly
In my mind
In my psyche.

On the face of one I love
Can’t help
Have to let it be
Pass thru, let it pass
Understand it did happen
But now
Now it’s in the past
Where you can let it be
What it was
What came to be
I can’t know nor understand
Only support and be there
To help you thru
This past, awful memory.
