If the world laughed
No one cried and in the sea
No fish, no lives

In another place, another time
This lady
Was my nursery rhyme.
She held me close, she kept me far
She taught me to believe
In my star.

He died today
But really
Tomorrow.
We said goodbye
With such
Great sorrow.
No heart could
Break
As much as ours.
We sobbed and sobbed
We knew there would be
No tomorrow.

I feel the heaven and the lie
I know the answer I sigh
Nothing is respectful
Nor is it what I need to know
I cry

I see the heaven
I see the ocean’s die
I am part of the earth
Scotched, bleeding dry
That’s why, that’s when

Will I reveal the face

Will the lines of tomorrow
Be etched
Across my taunt skin?
Will the ones
That happened yesterday
Be still there
In a full or forced grin?
I don’t know the answer

To live without fear
Without dread
Back to the heart
That rises fine and true
Keeps the soul warm
Surrounding you.

Are our thoughts real
Or dreams we lived
In bed at night
Moving thru
An existence surreal
Living as life.
Are the things we see
Real or imagery
Will they move in life
Or just be known
Seen
In the realm of night.

I fell off the world’s face
Down into the depths
Of disgrace
No hope, no saving grace
Mired deep
In a unholy place.
Then out of that depth
A saviour came
Putting his arms around
Making me claim my place
In blessed, holy time.
I live
Making no mistakes
Doing no crime
I see the world’s true face
It is such a wondrous place
And is now mine.

Experience joy
Watch the tide rise
The heart breathe
A pounding employed
See the birds fly
A mockingbird cry
Feel the wind blow
Above and beneath
The evening sky
No remorse employed
Regrets not even a few
All life is abound
With joyous blessings too.
