When I hear the voices call
My heart bumps
skips a beat.
When I hear that melody
I know
know I’m not alone
nor to be.
When I hear the voices sing
sing of love, compassion
everything.

I Wonder What The Bird Will Sing

I wonder what the bird will sing
What beauty it’s song will bring
To a world desperate
For happy, caring feelings.
Will it create a place so safe
Warm and secure
That no longer feelings
Of anger and hate will permeate.
I wonder what that song will be
What melody, I don’t know
But I’ll listen to every note
That bird sings with such beauty.

Tortured souls hear the pain
Nothing in it, all in vain
Climbing out, out from pain
Crucial not to be flushed
Down the drain.
Melody running in my head
Ponder what I really dread
Muster forth the power said
Rock all that fuels
This in my head.
