I Understand

I understand
I must be truthful, honest
And
Of course full of courtesy.

My question is…

Does that entitle me
To a blessed life
Or
One that’s just ordinary?

Why

I am here and have not seen why
All the answers evade
And I question why.

Heart and soul both
Don’t know the reason
The reason why.

Deep breath, let it rest
Then I may understand and see the answer
To my why, my question why.
