A million miles away
The sun shines
No matter
The time of day.
My heart must bring
That sun from far
To my day, my walk
My way.
Holding close all
That’s good
All I need to make
It thru today.
From a million miles away
The sun shines
Shines on me
As I’m on my way.

Tomorrow comes
Then
It ends
Taking place in today
Passing
Through to the past
Ending in history
To be
Retold once again.

Quietly, silently
I hear
The thunder roar
Sending a message
Down
The valley’s corridor.
Will there be an answer
Will the Earth
Reply
Succumb, or implore?
Not mine to know
But
Just to hear
The thunder roar.

Holy helps me
Believe the world is round
Green belongs
On summer leaves.
Everything else
Will come in it’s time
Passing through
Biding time.
Make no choice you’ll regret
Remember
You’re not alone.
Holy’s here
On this you can be
Certain
You can bet.

Totally understandable
Mostly
What I should
Do for myself and for those
That understand
The world isn’t different
The earth has withstood
Many hardships
Still
She has compassion
Forgiveness for all
No matter
If they, themselves
Understand
Or
Withstood.

Holding close, letting go
Cherishing
My heart does glow
With the light of a love
A love forever
Forever
Forever more.

Sorry
I couldn’t take you
With me.
Even tho the road
Was rough and tricky
I made it through
I did survive.
But
I’m so glad
You weren’t with me.
Cause
I’m afraid
You would have died.

Nobody can or will understand
What has happened
What will be
Neither does me
That’s why we go ahead
Move forward
Farther
Farther ahead
To the destination
We were meant to see
To be
Maybe then
We can
We’ll understand.

Quietly said, quietly done
Now we start
Start back to
Where we were
We begun.
