Needs To Be Said

Needs To Be Said ~ Photo by Patrice

I write
I say the words that
I believe
needs to be said.

I love the people of the world
only wish
they would not
be so intent on living
not thinking
how destructive
each footstep we take
can kill, eliminate
destroy living souls
who’ve done nothing
nothing but try to be
to live.

Take care to tread lightly
as you can
and
together we’ll make
the world a wondrous place
where we live
in
blissful harmony.

That’s all, that’s it
I’ve said
I believe
what
needs to be said.

Haven’t Found The Words

February 22, 2022
Haven't Found The Words ~ Photo by Patrice

Haven’t found the words
to say things
buried
deep in my heart
hidden
far, far away.

Will they give me
the secret
the key to my life
what needs to be said
what needs
forgiving?

Or

Have they already been said
those words
I’ve been seeking
needing
buried deep
already giving?

Did You See Me?

Did you see me? ~ Photo by Patrice

Did you see me?
Were you able to tell me
All that needs to be said
All that is held close
No heartache, no dread.

Did you see me?
Did you feel my heart skip a beat
My breath intake
When I looked
Looked at all the beauty.

Did you see me?
Will you help me
Climb into the highest sky
Gliding thru heavy laden clouds
Knowing all will be well
Breathing in, breathing out.

Did you see me?
