Heaven help the world
Understand
There is no tomorrow
If we don’t stand and
Let nature be around.
We alone cannot supply
Our food nor make rain
Come pouring down.
Understand
We are but a small dot
In a world
Simply
Spinning round.

I’m on your path
The way, it wanders but I can see
There is no more wrath.
Quiet acceptance
Honouring you, honouring me
Moving on into each our destinys.
I am on your path
You are on my road
We pass by smiling full with love
Wondering what life does hold.
Bide your time
I’ll let it be
A wondrous world spreading out
In front of thee.

Sleepy tired
Worry wakes me in the night
Toss turn
Feeling no sleep
As anguish plays on my sleepless stage
In a darkness with no saving light.
Maybe in the morning
All will be clear
A path opening up, a way from here to there
But tonight greeted with only so many questions
Keeping me sleepy tired
In a dim, dark hopeless night.

Feeling lonely, feeling sad
Feels like I’ve been bad.
Feeling so much
Feeling nothing, feels numb.
Feeling heartache
Then feels like I should run.
Away from all this feeling
Feel something no, feel none.

The water falls
Cascading over everything
No place is dry or wanting.
Soft rainfall falls
Breathing life into everything
Feeling life, making.

Memories
Memories come flooding back
Some with remorse
Some with a laugh track.
I don’t know if anyone else
Remembers it like that
But I remember
Memories
Just like that.
