When I ran, played all day long
The hours were long, lasting all day long
Summer was at least a year
Warming all day, all day long.
Bees buzzed, birds sang all day long
Sweet scents on breezes waffling thru
As I played
Ran all day, all day long

When I think of you
I think of me too
I think of joy, happiness
And all things filled
With memories
We made happen we too.
When I think of you
I think of me
Me too.

Vacant thought
Vacant lot in life
Not necessarily made totally right
By coming of night
Nor glorious morning light.
Sometimes best
To let the mind be at peace
To rest, vacant of any racing kind
Only tranquility residing
In a quiet mind,
Vacant
Of all troubling thoughts
No racing
Racing thru a night, a day, a life
A mind.
~ Patrice

Was a dark and awful night
When the world took my saviour away
Leaving sadness, regrets
No laughing, only crying crys
And harsh words spoke in harsh terms
Stomping thoughts crushed my saviour
Crushed my saviour’s life that night
A dark and awful, awful night.
~ Patrice
My deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those massacred in Orlando. My thoughts and prayers are with you. ❤ ❤

Method of approach may be different, but we all want the same things from life.
Love and acceptance.
To feel nurturing from our mothers.
Guidance from our fathers.
Companionship, devotion, caring and love from all we love.
And hopefully, love us in return.
Some may rage. Some may quietly glide thru. Others plan and scheme.
No matter.
We all are seeking the same.
Be gentle with your fellow travellers and may they be gentle with you.

Will you write me a poem
Will you call my name
Will you pen my life in a sweet refrain
Will you feel my pain
Will you write a few short lines
Will you mark joy and glorious laughter
Will you tell of when it rained
Will you write me a poem
Will you call my name?
~ Patrice

Remember when
Life was soft
And
Then the world burst
Spewing anger.
That is when
I fell from my heart
Landing in a den of angry giants
Eating,
Crunching hapless wrens
Cried in anger, feared for death.
That is when
I saw the world
Issue out some justice
My tears were dried, my heart soothed
And
I remembered when.

Gracie, Grace a little Boston over there
Just a game away, a toy pulled in to play
A smile across her face
No disgrace if she stole a whole blessed cake
Gracie, Grace.
Love was in every part
Of her body, her head, her heart
But those dancing feet now cease to be
Nor no more little snore next to me
Gracie, Grace.
Gracie waits quietly
For the time once again
When we’ll be together, whole forever
In Heaven’s Place
Gracie, Grace waits.
~ Patrice

My deepest sympathy Joanne, for your loss of a wonderful little girl named,
Grace Kelly.
