So much is required
So little to give
Delve deep down
Deep down and dig.
Bring forth all that’s buried
Dig down and live.
Live in the moment
Not in the past
Dig down find the way
That gives joy now
Dig down, dig deep
Nothing required
Except to live.

Suffering through the darkness of day
Seeing light in the lightest night
All is mixed, messed up
Nothing seems sane no one talks words
That make any sense
All are inaudible really insane.
Still I go on
Not knowing why, hoping to meet
Someone who has answers
Who cry words of wisdom
Notes that make sense holding
The madness at a long arm’s length.

Heaven helped, heaven loved
Nothing lost for that is love.
Holding close, holding tight
Living in it’s radiance tonight.

Sacrifice nothing
Don’t let it go
Hang onto something
Let the winds blow pass
All around you
Let them go
Keep that, those you care for
Close and together
Never ever, despair.
Sacrifice nothing
Act like you have nothing
Not a care
Cause I know and will share
That the world will hold
Envelope you
In it’s gentle
Loving care.

Life is
What it is
Heart full, heartless
All together
Showing us it is
Life
Life lives. ~ Patrice

The never never comes
Or consoles lost ones, lost souls
Searching in the mist, the dark
For what has happened
What has cost
What’s been lost.
The never never helps
The world resolve
Earth shattering episodes
None that I recall
Only moving forward, heart in hand
Holding out for sanctuary
A soft place to land.

When I try to understand
Sometimes
The way is not so clear.
Should I take a step behind
Or move forward
So to be near
To the heart of the matter
The source of my dilemma?
Sometimes the way
My way
Is not so clear.
