Great expectations, wonder aloud.
Be in possession of all that is
Bought gently here, on a cloud.
No one will ponder, question or ask
But accept the greatness
One has within them to
Accomplish the task.

Meddle
In someone’s thoughts
Stick
Your fingers in someone’s dreams
Sadden
By the way they don’t listen away
Maybe
It’s time to keep your mouth shut
Your opinion
To your own self, it may work for you
But
Only you and you alone.

Sweet water greets those flying from the south
A long time since said goodbye
Now spring beckons them to our house
Heavy, sweet ruffled feathers
Shook out to contain some heat
Refilled from drinking that that’s sweet.
Tiny and big spring flowers bloom
Holding up their coloured petals
To the sun and to the moon
Sweet nectar deep inside
Lavish feast for who knows where it resides
Hovering there in spring.
Welcome back my little summer friends
Who harrow spring and winter’s end
Let summer too be about to begin
Trust your journey was a easy ride
On currents blowing up
On south’s humid tide.
We’ll share the warm summer’s breeze
You’ll drink sweet water
Til leaves begin to fall
Then on currents you’ll fly away
Drinking sweet water on your way
Back to a warm, south southern day.

Nothing hurts nor contains
I will sing a sweet, melodious refrain.

There I am in my robe
Watching closely as the earth disrobes
All it’s ugly, nasty things
Rising up in beauty
Filled with summer and with spring.
Winter’s cold, bitter hate
Melted here, no distaste
Only warm, fulfilling beams
Creating more lovely dreams.
Bless the ground I stand upon
Know it gives me faith true and strong
Trusting I’ll be here long after
Spring flowers fade and go
But memories of what has been
Or yet to come
Will hold my own sheltering robe so tight
That I know I will be safe
On earth’s soft ground tonight.

Definitely not the one
I thought I’d write
Maybe then the one
I need to write.
Blessed be the time
That I see I’ve done no crime
Only good
For the sake of mankind.
That’s what I’ll write
Fill my pages full of beauty
Or maybe just delight
Yes this I need, I need to write.

Moving forward, moving ahead
Pass the corner, holding back anticipation
As you round the bend, passing the ever present dread
Nothing stands still, nothing remains the same
Touch the hearthstone, let nothing be in vain.
You are cheerful, happy to be here
Stepping lightly, never expressing fear
You’ll arrive in the future with this or another name
Moving forward, moving forward
Forward is the constant in this game.

All is seen, all is glad
Be ye thankful
For all you’ve had
Can’t take it away
Nor make it bad.
Just believe in yourself
And just be glad
You’ve been given
A gift that many
Have never had.
