I didn’t draw, I wouldn’t paint
Little love, lots of hate
Time stood still
And seemed to crawl
No one knew
What could or would be all.
Focused on the wrong thing then
Didn’t know what was up
Or around the bend.
Hardship was a constant friend
Little laughter to ease my way
Just disaster each turn I made.
Then they came and held me up
Turned me round to see the light
Not just of love
But a grandeur life
Stroked my soul, made things right
This they did for me one night.
They stood behind, smiled and laughed
No judgement made in this my craft
What took so long?
You might ask
But only those who know
Can answer that.

Cheerful, smile
See life full.
Laughter, kindness
Make it well rounded
Not only full.
Step forward
Embrace the heart felt
Honour you can bestow.
Take it in
And let it go.
Out to the world
Beautiful, marvellous
Bringing us together
Completed, full.

The parcel is wrapped and ready to go
To someone deserving this I know
But please let them see
Love wrapped happily and ready to go
To someone who’ll cherish it
And then let it go.
Don’t worry if it’s proper
Don’t worry if it’s right
Just send it off wrapped
Full of love
Tied lovingly tight.
Don’t wait for an answer
Nor expect one soon
Your love is the answer
Yours or someone who opens the parcel
All wrapped and ready to go
On to the world there to bestow
True love forever
Wherever it goes.
So just wrap a parcel
Fill it with love
Give it to someone
In need of a hug.

Now we figure what must be done
The best for us and everyone
Not to hurt or harm the thought
But get it done to the best of the lot.
You can do it without a doubt
Focus on a solution
Please don’t pout
You are worth it
Just speak out.
Trash don’t bash that runabout
Course straight through
You must have no doubt
This is the best
The best about!

Snow falls softly down
Down on hardened ground
Covering lightly
Frozen fallen leaves
Dropped from lofty trees
All bare
Just standing there.
Snow flakes gently falling
Down upon the ground
Lightly dusting those
That can’t wait to be covered
In a light atmosphere
Enveloping, buffering from the cold
All this you do behold.
Breathe in frosty air
Feel the flakes caress your soul
As they tumble softly down
Gently landing on frozen ground
This is their time
For falling, coming down
See the snow fall softly down.

The quarry is dead!
No more dread
It is dead.
No black hole down
To the depths of coal
Down pass where water flows.
The quarry is dead I said
The fight was won
They’ve taken their greed
Moving on.
No more dread
But instead a land lovely
To be farmed for an eternity
We hope it to be.
The quarry is dead!
No more dread
Let us rejoice
Rejoice instead
The quarry is dead.

Loaded down with agony
I push past the entrance
Into hell.
Hope desperately not to dwell
But see the possibility
If I do not undo this awful spell
Stuck down here in my misery
Stuck down here in my hell.
See the light above me
See the stairs lace up from here
Trace the steps back up thru agony
Past the entrance out of here.
Out the gates of Hell into loving
Living memories in a wondrous
Earthly Heaven where there is
No more wretched hell.
Blessed be this living
Please do let me dwell
Here in Heaven
Crushing all sadness
Rising up from awful
Awful hell.
