See the world in a different light
See it radiate love
Carried throughout the day
Into night.
Let no one be left behind
Nor dropped by the side
All carried to salvation
By the shining of that loving light.

I sit here wishing
What is
Could not be.
Hoping life
Would be a little gentler
Take pity on me.
Trusting it
Will get better
So all can be happy.
Doesn’t matter what I wish
Cause life is
What it will be.

Having a hard time
For
I’m seeing the future
In a bleak frame of mind
Looking out onto trees
Dripping
As if crying along with me
My heart is broken
In
So much anguish and pain
I know
The sun will shine
Again
I know
I will laugh
Til
I cry once more
But until
That time comes
The future is sadness
All I see
A future bleak
Without you here
Near me.

Like winter winds that blow
Our lives can be tossed
To and fro.
So grasp with vigour and hold on so tight
To live thru your winter and bask once again
In
A summer’s delight.

A eagle sits up in a tree
resting
after fishing salmon
in
our tiny stream.
Majestic and noble
he doesn’t seem to see
the trials, tribulations
I’m burdened with
as I too wander by
that
tiny, fish laden stream.
He brings it all into perspective
he makes me see
life goes on
regardless
of what I want
I need
I perceive.

Remember when
The world was small
Worries, cares were nothing
To speak of at all.
No crashing down
Of a market
Not really existing
Not at all.
No change in time
It just moved forward
Regardless of everything
Anything at all.
No mushroom cloud
No toxic smoke
No weeping, wailing
All lost hope.
Those were to come
But when
The world was small
None of that mattered
Not at all.

Feel the respect of life
all life
hold, cherish
and
spread the love
of those lives
throughout the land.
Each life
is precious
all lives are great
hold yours
in reverence
making sure its the best
all
that you possibly can.

Living the best
I can
making believe

hugging
all that’s right
