I fell off the world’s face
Down into the depths
Of disgrace
No hope, no saving grace
Mired deep
In a unholy place.
Then out of that depth
A saviour came
Putting his arms around
Making me claim my place
In blessed, holy time.
I live
Making no mistakes
Doing no crime
I see the world’s true face
It is such a wondrous place
And is now mine.

All I can know
You have given me.
Nothing is left
Out of my destiny.
No heart pumps
Without a soul,
No mind smiles
Unless they know.

I don’t know
Nor will I be
Entrenched in anything
Filled with misery
I won’t call
Weep or wail
Sad words
They won’t prevail.
Marching on
Marching forward
Taking positive
Shielding my soul
From all
Nothing more
Than
A coward.
See that light
Feel it fill the sky
Warm my heart
Pour radiance
Throughout the world
Bring glad tears
Healing
To my eyes.

As I look around
My heart, my soul
Do abound with love
Joy and gratitude
For things lost then
Brought back in magnitude.
No one hears or feels
The same thing
In the same way
For thoughts are lost
With no beating heart
To bring them back.
Only feel them
Touch the soul
Giving, sharing
Making one whole
With love
Joy and gratitude.

Sincerely loving every moment
Everyday
Nothing happens by instance
It happens to pave the way.

The idea came
Staying maybe for a day
Not a word was said
Just everything conveyed
On a thread of thought
Streaming thru my head
Ending in my heart.
No word was spoken
No lips moved
Instead an idea alone
Placed its thoughts
Quietly in my mind
In my head
And forever in my heart.

When I think all is lost
You come and hold me.
You give me strength
When I feel so weak
You give me hope
A chance to speak
The words that heal me.
My heart’s not broken
It mends, it sees me
Go ahead with life
With you beside me.
