He died today
But really
Tomorrow.
We said goodbye
With such
Great sorrow.
No heart could
Break
As much as ours.
We sobbed and sobbed
We knew there would be
No tomorrow.

A flower wilts
A flower dies
Its life with us
Has said goodbye.
No more joy to bring
Like it once did
All dead, gone
Done with it.
A flower dies
That had a life
Giving beauty, joy
In such a lovely life.
Now is gone but in out mind
We still see
A flower that once
Breathed eternal beauty.
