Plod ahead

I head for the open gate
the door is
open
I must not wait.
Time will come
I’ll be gone
then
someone else
will guide you thru
that
open gate.
Safe, secure
you will follow me

what becomes
our true destiny.

understand
where the sadness
came from
and
where it hides away.
To
creep out, to consume
when happiness
fades
goes away.

your direction plotted

forward on your own

wash

The anger, the magnitude
of
travesty
Knowing nowhere to go
nowhere safe
to be
Feeling feelings so deep
deep
inside of me.

Safe and serene
standing straight up
