those wondrous things

gone from the world

my sad heart
my wailing voice
my mind

The joy of reliving yesterday
Remembering the journey
That was begun.
No regrets to take with us
Only those already spun.
Mystical powers allowing us
To be changing always
Changing none.
We relive the past
And find the peace
That only yesterday
Could give us some.

Remembering where hurts were done
By people who just didn’t care.
Not the one they tried to make me
Not the one who really cares
Whether their world is perfect
Cause in my heart, mine is
And nothing, no part of theirs.

Onward, forward
Must be the march
No hesitation
No “What if my heart?”
Will be positive and pleased with all
Remembering the world
Gives you what you dare to dream
