The Bottom Falls Out

The bottom falls out
That’s when I see
The dirty truth
That’s been hiding
From me.

I didn’t know
I couldn’t see
All that sordid, disgusting
Lying
Cheating on me.

Now I’m free
I can see
To help those in the same state
That once held
Imprisoned me.
