My heart aches
my soul cries
for a time
of clear innocence
a time that time
has taken
to the past
No more to feel
to bask
in rays of light
hearted laughs
Sadness overwhelms
hurt
seems to last
til no more tears left
to sob
crying for the now
distance past.
