Our Choice Is Theirs

April 10, 2011

Our choice is theirs. We don’t have a choice. We must do as the spirit directs us. Question? Yes.
Do it in our own way and in our own time, but we must do it. Do it to survive. To exist. To be. To see the world as it should be seen. Bravely go forward. Yes, you may falter, you may fail. But without trying, you certainly will.
By trying you have a good possibility of achieving your goal, achieving that lofty height. Yes, you can do it. You were put in this world to succeed and be that great person, that distinct individual like no one else. That’s you and only you. Only me. All you have to do is to believe and take that one step forward into your future, unafraid.

We Journey On Regardless

March 25, 2011

We journey on regardless of the consequences. We are compelled to go forward. That is the drive for life we all have. All of us. Every human, dog, bird, tree and bush. All of us. We must go ahead, through time. Our drive for life makes us. If we stop that drive, lose that drive, we lose our will to survive, to live and exist no more. We only live if we have the will to live.

I Thought It was Depressing

March 23, 2011

I thought it was depressing to wake up this morning to all this snow once again. But then I saw robins looking for worms in the cold water and knew I had nothing to complaint about. I hadn’t flown thousand of miles from the warm, sunny south, anticipating the weather to be ready for spring, not still immersed in winter.

Today, Things Are Not Right

March 18, 2011

Today, things are not right with the world. 8-9 magnitude earthquake, tsunami destruction, nuclear meltdowns. Life will never be the same. Death. Unholy hell. Where to begin? Where to start once more?
Japan is not alone. We’re all in this. We all repeat the lesson until we learn what we need from it. Did so many people, creatures, life have to die to learn this lesson?
Is it that we are not in control of our world? That we only live here, exist here, flourish here but for the grace of the rest of the universe? We must learn to live in harmony and know we are not all powerful. No matter the technology we develop. We are not alone either.
Give and you will get back.

March 4, 2011

Just what kind of birds do you get at your feeder?
Mine seem a little different.

I Woke the Other Night

February 8, 2011

I woke the other night and there lying beside of me, was my husband sound asleep. He was obviously in a very deep, relaxed sleep. The weird thing was he was yawning!
If yawning indicates that you are sleepy, how could he be sleepy in his sleep?

Devastating News

December 7, 2010

A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting a lady named Melissa at DVG Nationals.
Last Saturday her and her husband, John had a devastating house fire. They lost 3 of their old Malinois, one of which was the first dog she ever titled Bouchle (13) and Nash (11), her first dog that took her to the DVG nationals, Bonsi, a Flash son that was her husband John’s dog. 2 of their cats, Melissa’s parrot that she had for 21 years and Dennis the French Bulldog were also lost in the fire.  A total of 9 animals lost their lives.
Such a devastating tragedy this is.
Melissa is a strong person, but this is enough to bring anyone down.  She’s had most of these animals for many, many years and is now just trying to get through the days.

Our hearts and prayers are with you Melissa and John.
