The world turns
and
it cries
the Blue Jays
lost
by one
in overtime
They fought
their way
thru all the games
playing
strong
playing as one
all
the same
Win
with brilliance
lose
no shame
they made it thru
to
the seventh
the last
game
Hit with pitches
fly balls
caught
they battled
to
the end
when
to the Dodgers
they lost
But
In my heart
in
my mind
you are
Number One
no matter
if
the score card
shows
a loss
You played
with valour
power
and
strength
you are my hero
you are
the Best
darn baseball players
in
all the Game!
