No thought is taken
Of what happened back in time.
Moving forward, risking not
Becoming ice
In a land that’s hot.
Then in the midst of emptiness
She dares, she dreams

Lead the way
In the morning

My purpose it seems
Is to take
Those awful thoughts away.
Put them in a place
They can’t speak
Can’t have their say
Those dreadful thoughts
Which are just a heartbeat
A moment
A thought away.

He goes forth
The essence of bad.
No one curtails
No one dare tell
The evil one
He is going to wither
In hell.
He doesn’t know
It doesn’t have to be so
He could be happy
And glad.
All that’s required
Is to be open, generous
Considerate and mostly
Not angry, bitter
Or sad.
