You told me
told me
how it was
going to be
You told me
told me
but
I just couldn’t see.

You Can Not
November 5, 2025
You can not
colour
you can not
be
someone
full of courtesy
if
in your heart
there beats
anger
absolute misery.

Misery
November 4, 2025
Let me not begin
to feel
all the anger
misery
Let my eyes see
happiness, gratitude
everything
but
misery
Let my feet trod
on
hallowed ground
let not a stone
make me stumble
fall down
And
Let my hands hold
all that’s right
now, forever
even
thru the darkest night.

Go Jays Go!
November 3, 2025
The world turns
and
it cries
the Blue Jays
lost
by one
in overtime
They fought
their way
thru all the games
playing
strong
playing as one
all
the same
Win
with brilliance
lose
no shame
they made it thru
to
the seventh
the last
game
Hit with pitches
fly balls
caught
they battled
to
the end
when
to the Dodgers
they lost
But
In my heart
in
my mind
you are
Number One
no matter
if
the score card
shows
a loss
You played
with valour
power
and
strength
you are my hero
you are
the Best
darn baseball players
in
all the Game!

The Sun Shines Bright
October 31, 2025
The sun shines bright
Radiating, glowing
with
all it’s might.
Let me not
be standing in the shadows
not feeling
its’ love, warmth, beauty
and
delight.

Birds Do Sing
October 30, 2025
Birds do sing
the sun does
shine
the world turns
lost
in
endless time
The song they sing
sounds
through the valleys
echos out
to
sunny skies
Where birds
fly
stars twinkle
and
I laugh, I cry
seeing
with
wondrous eyes.

You Gave Me Life
October 29, 2025
You gave me life
you gave me
hope
you saw the future
you strove
to make it real
the most
I saw you do this
I held on
tight
I walked behind you
I tugged a little
at
your coat
Now grown
we walk together
now
we’ve seen the fruition
of
all our planning
striving, hope
The Light
We’ll smile
that
we made it
we’ll laugh and cry
for
we are together
resting quietly
up
in the blue, blue sky.

Feeling The Heart
October 28, 2025
Feeling
the heart
feeling the love
in
the midst
of
passion
I succumb
to
another’s touch
another’s
love.

The Future
October 27, 2025
The future is mine
as
it is yours
Let’s journey
together
Me
with mine
and
you with yours.

No One Else
October 24, 2025
No one else
no one will be just the same
cause as you may know
or can see
we’re all unique
never not the same
not the same as
you and me.
